Tips For Puppy Training

You have to admit that a dog and puppies are adorable. It is something that we find extremely enjoyable to play with and take care of.

Not only are the puppies adorable, but so are the people that tend to love them. There is nothing that says 'family' and 'friend' like tending to a puppy.

However, if you are one of those that really dislike dogs, then having puppies around is probably not a good thing for you.

There are many people out there that do not like dogs as they can be a nuisance. In some cases, a dog can be considered a law enforcement agency for others, it just seems to scare others.

On the other hand, if you tend to be nervous and often feel the need to keep up appearances, then having dogs around can give you a great sense of confidence and let others see you as the caring person that you are.

So if you are a dog lover, and if you are worried about the dog's behavior and other reasons to get puppies, then try letting them play and get treated like any other little dog should be treated.

Do not be harsh and inhumane to the dog. If the puppy gets a little too rough or growls at you or another person, do not respond by kicking or hitting the puppy. Instead, get up and walk away. The puppy will come to associate this behavior with being angry or bad and so will not do it again.

However, if the puppy is too rough with you and your children, then you will need to let them know that they are doing wrong by taking them outside to play and have fun. After the puppy has had some time to play and get to know the children allow them to come to your house as a way to let them know they are doing a good job.

You can try a lot of things with the puppies, and it will depend on what you want from your puppy. Some people want a little more play and attention. Others just want a more submissive or patient dog. I find that a combination of both works well.

It is a good idea to start this process when the puppy is a little younger. After all, it will be a little younger than an adult dog, and you can start to let them know that they are doing something right.

At first, take the puppy outside with you to let them explore. If they get over-excited, then let them know to calm down. You want them to do this themselves. It is good for the puppy to be with you in a safe environment.

The next step is to praise the puppy and reward them for being a good little puppy. This can take some time, so be patient. It will work like magic.

At some point, the puppy will take on some of the responsibility for the rules in the house. At first, it is okay to let the puppy sit and wait for things to be ready. Sometimes, you can place your orders of "Let it sit" or "Let it eat this" or whatever and the puppy will eat the order.

After a while, you will not need to do this. You can place the order, go to the kitchen and get the ingredients for the food, or take out the trash. The puppy will realize that "Let it eat this" means "Let it wait."

A little later, the puppy will start to come to the door to ask to come into the house. You can then let the puppy in and reward it. Do this a few times, and it will learn that the house belongs to it and it is a good little puppy.

This is a good way to begin puppy training. It is not a perfect way to train a puppy, but it is good. You must remember to give the puppy some space. A puppy cannot handle too much attention and love and then be taken from you.
